Continuing Education.
These courses are delivered via live telephone/speakerphone hookup, and fees ($134) are per site regardless of number of listeners. Program format is 45 minutes in length, described as being similar to radio broadcasts, and are accompanied by slides and handouts. Description states these offerings are interactive, so listeners may ask questions of the presenters. There are many specialty course offerings for administrators, nurses, and therapists, as well as courses of transdisciplinary interest such as utilization management, management information systems, and infection control. Spring 1998 course calendar with date and Eastern Standard Time of offering is posted. Registration is available online, as well as full instructions for setting up the call. Audiotapes of the teleconference event are also available. Continuing education accreditations for each course are listed.
