NurseWeek and HealthWeek are "prestigious and respected magazines that reach more than 100,000 health professionals every other week." Distribution includes California and Texas by mail, readership is international via this Web site. Target audience is licensed nurses, primarily, although allied health professionals are included in readership description.

Continuing Education Advisory Board members are listed at this site; consists of more than twenty-five advanced practice nurses in executive level positions representing various health care provider organizations.

Site has clinical and scholarly orientation. Articles contain references, and all advertising on this site is clearly indicated.

Continuing Education.
Contains about 30 articles, all accessable online at no charge, 1.0 hour credit. Fee of $10 for post-test and CE certificate. Courses contain about three objectives, instructor bio, references, and hyperlinks to related resources online. Nicely formatted. ANCC approved provider. Site states that "many of these continuing education courses can also be used to meet the mandatory continuing education requirements for allied health professionals in many states," but checking with licensing boards is advised. Home study courses ranging from 4 to 40 credit hours are also available for order online at this site. Nurseweek publishing maintains a calendar of events in California (USA), updated biweekly.
