Nursing Spectrum, Inc, is a media company that publishes a bi-weekly newspaper for nurses in select US cities. According to description, this publication has an RN-led staff, and provides "relevant, compelling, and timely information." Target audience is the nursing community.

Continuing education offerings are authored by certified and/or advanced practice nurses.

Courses have clinical orientation, and credentials of author are given. This site contains no product advertising, but contains promotional materials for course authors and speakers for on-ground seminar series.

Loads well and is easy to navigate. To view, web browser must be capable of "the two most recent versions," which are listed as versions 3.x and 4.x. Contains other links of contemporary interest, primarily job search and career information.

Continuing Education.
Several courses (all 1.0 contact hours each) are provided in various nursing specialty areas, including gerontologic nursing; clinical management of Parkinson's; HIV/AIDS Update; and areas of broader interest such as professional issues, management, and women's health. Courses are read-only. Objectives are clearly stated, references included. Full text is available for viewing at no charge, $8 fee for post-test and certificate. Approved provider by ANCC and American Association of Critical Care Nurses.
